Humility is the recognition, both in mind and in feeling, that you come before God with the great awareness that you have nothing that is of any worth as your own—as a separated self. It is the deep recognition of God’s Divine Presence in anything good that comes forth. Humility is a ‘head’s bowed,’ and an ‘on ones’ knees’ mindset, a ‘crumpled on the floor in tears’ mindset that says, “ Without you, I am nothing, Lord. I am as a broken stick. I yield myself to you fully, Lord. You are my strength, my wisdom, my love, my all. You, Lord, only you.” Humility always will accompany real greatness, for it is the surrendering of self will to God’s Great Will and His Divine Purpose.

Now as I write this through the mind of this woman, she has understood and felt humility. She has felt brokenness. She knows, and I have told her again and again, that she is a spiritual being who is perfect, whole, and free. She is held this way now, and has always been held this way in the Mind of her Creator. I am urging her to stand up with Me on equal footing as a sister, and not as an underling or as one who is “ less than,” or unworthy.

Now I am not advocating a sense of pride, or self sufficiency, or as one who has some sort of ‘specialness’ to rise above others. No, indeed. Humility is the natural feeling one has when God’s great love and power is experienced by that one. He or she is an equal with everyone —not above or below. All are One with our Source and all have God’s meaning, living love as their substance, their meaning.  Each one brings his or her unique attributes to the Oneness, and each one has different degrees of opening to his or her full awakening. Each one has gifts to give.

I am calling on each one of you to stand up tall with Me and see yourself as My sibling there. Deep humility is the natural response to God’s love, but let not your humility stifle, nor paralyze your strength and your forward movement. Stand up, rise up, let your joy be felt, and let your life radiate living love to all others! Stand up! Stand up! Join with Me in this, and together, we will be God’s point of love and light right where you are. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
