Pandemic as powerful lesson...

Saturday, October 31, 2020

Remembering all the good things that have occurred for you is a way to let go of some of the down feelings you may have, as you are called on to isolate yourself because of the pandemic. As the weeks and months pass by with the pandemic increasing in many places in America and around the world, what was once just something to just get through, now seems as the new normal, possibly stretching on for many more months. People are adjusting to being alone or with just a few in their household, but there certainly is less joy and happiness. Most are trying to do what they are called on to do to get through. We are realizing most fully, the importance of each other in our happiness and vitality level.

We remember the joy of Thanksgiving and Christmas time together and all the planning and fun that went into it. It was alway something to look forward to. It will be different for many this year. Television and the screens of our lives take up much more time, but seem hollow in what they give. However, they do provide links to others and to the outside world.

We can look at the pandemic as a powerful lesson for all to learn from. We need each other for our mental health, our sanity, and for how we were created to Iive—in relationship with each other, fully engaged in the lives of people in all our daily living. Now we look at the storekeeper differently, the mailman, the police and firemen, and the many others who contribute so much to our well being. Everyone has a meaning and a purpose, and has value there. Their value is intrinsic — not related to with they are contributing, but to their very humanness. They are our brothers and sisters on the planet.

This pandemic has made us more aware of the needs of others. Our hearts go out to the Syrian refugees in those large and crowded camps, the homeless on our own city streets, the vast numbers who now are unemployed, to the migrant children who are separated from their parents, and to all those who are suffering now. People’s hearts will now open more fully and look for greater ways to contribute and care for others.

In the midst of these difficult times, I would urge you to quiet your thinking mindset, and turn within to Me. Always, you are never alone. I am there to help you through these times, dear one, no matter what you are going through, I am there for you. Together, we will open the flood gates of living love within to bathe you in its healing balm. It will renew you and provide you with all that you need. I am that steady relationship that does not leave because of the pandemic or for any other reason. We will find joy and happiness together, through it all. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
