A Resounding Call

There is a call for unity,

For healing the divide,

For joining what’s been broken,

For letting hate subside.

Turn within to Me, there,

For guidance in what way,

Division can be banished,

So at the light of day,

We recognize each other,

As who we really are,

More alike than different,

With love our northern star.

Let’s focus on that love, there,

Let’s see what it can do,

It’s not a foreign substance,

Its essence is in you. 

Its purpose — transformation,

God’s meaning moving through,

Healing and redeeming,

Making All things new. 

Let’s use this very moment,

Though far apart we seem,

To call on loving guidance,

To put us on the beam.

God’s beam of light will lead us,

Through division’s wall of hate,

Will melt down the defenses,

And open love’s flood gate.

This needn’t take forever,

Though huge the problems seem,

If everyone will open,

To living love’s life stream. 

Together, we will be there,

A rapturous, wondrous state,

The way our Source has made us,

Join now! It’s not too late. 

My resounding call’s to you, there,

For you will be the place,

Where love will make the difference, 

Will heal the human race! 

In closing I will tell you,

Something you have known,

I am with you always,

You are not alone!
