The winter solstice reminds us that the year is almost over. What’s old will soon be gone and it is time to welcome in the new. We can let the old just slip past us, or we can take time to really ‘let go’ of all that no longer serves us. This means that we no longer ‘play back’ incessantly, the scenes in our minds that served us at one time, but are not relevant for today. We must remember that what we dwell upon will stay with us or grow, and may hamper what is there, ‘waiting in the wings’ to come forth anew — fresh and meaningful for today!

We could compare old useless memories, habitual emotional reactions, and thought patterns in our minds to a closet filled to capacity with outdated and worn clothing and shoes and stuff that serve us no more and just take up valuable space. Let’s clean out the closet of our minds! Take the time to say, “ No, I don’t need to ‘go there’ again. That served me, and was relevant  before, but  this is now, and I want to make room for fresh and new ideas to come forth that are current and meaningful for today.” Let’s open up willingly and with joyful anticipation for what’s to come this year, this day, and this moment!

How are we to do this? Well, I would say the best way is to do this is to join consciously and with intent, and with purpose, to Me, or to your spiritual guide, to the Transcendent mindset, as you come into your peace, and let go of your thinking and  all that is the old that is now occupying valuable mind space. Do this repeatedly, and it will be the only way you will ever want to use your mind, for you will feel into the truth of it so mightily. You will cherish and seek our relationship there, always. It will be current and new and relevant for each moment!

 As you open up to Me and to living love, the very meaning and substance your Source has given you, you will open up to what has the very function of renewal, transformation, healing, redeeming, and making all things right. What will be given to you will be the current need, and current understanding for you to know, and for you to move forward. Together we will undo/let go of what has not served you well— the defenses and the ways of being that have held you hostage to separation and limitation, there. Now the full blazing sunshine of God’s love and meaning will shine through in all its transforming glory for you. You will know who you really are, His Child and His Own! I love you dearly, and let this year be one of real renewal and our togetherness, dear one. Remember, you are never alone!
