Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not arrived, but this morning has dawned and we are ready for a fresh start, a new beginning, this day. Your first awareness is to turn to spiritual guidance and ask Me in. “Are you there, Lord? Be with me this day, Lord, and let my day be in accordance with the Father’s will, your guidance, Lord.  I know I am not alone here, and so let me feel your Presence with me, with each breath I take. Let me not view you as just a nice idea, an ethereal placeholder of virtue, but as a real Presence. Let me honor you as a co-joined partner. Let me not assume anything about what your guidance will be, Lord. Each day is brand new and each exchange with you is brand new, Lord. You have the whole picture of what is going on. You know what is needed here. ” 

As we embrace within, let living love pour forth upon us, and feel into the healing balm therein. Each breath is a breath of completeness, and each breath is a breath of joy. We can relax into this fresh start, and feel no anxiety about what’s to come this day. In our togetherness, insecurity is gone, and the solid foundation of the Oneness of our Source, is truly, as the old hymn says,”…a mighty fortress, a bulwark never failing.” We feel rock solid in our truth, with no tentativeness about it. Deep peace and calmness accompany this feeling. It is like when we were little children, and Dad and Mom held us close. We placed all our trust in them. We can truly relax into relationship with Our Source, trusting our Father/Mother God. 

I know I will not be judged for shortcomings, Lord, nor will you admonish me for any laziness or ineptitude. I need not fear that you will leave me out of disgust, or out of boredom with me. I have known you long enough to know that you are constant in your love and care for me. I treasure this relationship with you, and put it first in my life. You Lord, you. My love pours forth out to you and I yield fully, to you. For we are One! One life, One, love, One movement of our Source, with the All! There is no me without you, Lord. There is One meaning for this All and that is living love, pouring forth as who we are—renewing, transforming, healing, making all things right, redeeming and ushering in Divine Purpose. I claim this truth this day, Lord, and I’m listening to you. A fresh start with you, Lord, this day.
