There are days when emptiness and lack of joy seems to be what’s there — lack, in general. Friends and family seem far away, and nothing is there on the horizon to look forward to. The long cold days of fall and winter are here and rain and clouds overhead put a damper on things. The ego mindset, the mindset of separation, feeds on this dark and gloomy outlook and offers only poor or no substitutes to relieve the emptiness — only addictive type escapes to blot out your conscious awareness — to dull your mindfulness into obliviousness—habits that don’t help, dear one. It even posits ‘ending it all’ as an option. Don’t listen to it, dear one ! There is a pop song that says, “Looking for love in all the wrong places…” and this is what you do when living out from ego—looking for love, joy, fulfillment, forward movement, in all the wrong places.  

I offer you a new outlook, a renewed spirit, and My companionship of joy to abide with you on these days, and always, dear one. Take the time to still your mind,  go within,  and ask for Me, there. My Presence will infill you with the “knowing” that you are not alone, that you are deeply loved, and that the depressed feelings you may have will pass and are truly only a temporary blip in the meaningful spirit-filled stream/strength/Oneness of our life together.  I will tell you that small steps with Me will get you out of this dark place. Ask that living love, God’s agency of change will pour forth upon you, its healing and renewing power of transformation, there. These are not just nice sounding words, dear one. They are the truth, and are real and dynamic in your life as you open to them—to this love that is there, so wonderfully for you!

Right now, if this is how you are feeling, turn to Me. Turn within to Me. This is the right place to find what you are so hungry for, and for what will truly fulfill you there. Here is your Wholeness manifesting for you as you open to it. I am with you, I will stay with you, and I will never leave you ever. This is my promise, to you, and this is a promise I will keep. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.

Fulfilling the Promise

I made a promise long ago,

A promise made for you,

That I would be there always,

To this I have stayed true. 

In Spirit I am present,

Available in Mind,

When joined with your Transcendence,

In peace you’ll truly find,

A Friend unlike no other,

No other can compare,

Whose constancy of love for you,

And willingness to share,

Provides God’s very meaning,

In living love you’ll grow,

In understanding who you are,

God’s own you’ll come to know. 

You’ll know My constant Presence,

So intertwined are we,

That separation will be gone, 

With all its falsity. 

We’ll move as One together,

Each day anew we’ll find,

A fullness without measure,

Embraced by ties that bind. 

So if you’re feeling all alone,

And know not what to do,

Just ask Me in for friendship,

I’m here in Mind for you! 

This poem’s a declaration,

A promise I renew, 

I pledge and open to you,

My love and All that’s true. 

In closing I would urge you,

Don’t push this love aside,

Its gift is all transforming,

In joy we will abide!
