A New Day Dawns

Unrest felt yesterday is gone,

Now peace is in that place,

No longer anxious or afraid,

I’m held in Love’s embrace.

You signaled to me clearly, Lord,

Without a doubt, I knew,

That you were right there with me,  

As One, we’d see it through.

The answers true were given, 

Clarity was there, 

And all who were impacted,

Had no pain to bear.

This shows, again, so clearly, Lord,

God’s Love will point the way,

Healing and redeeming,

‘Making right’ each day. 

Life will have its problems,

The storms will come and go

Causing their disruption, 

Like tides, they ebb and flow.

Turn within to Me, dear,

We’ll follow where Love leads,

We’ll weather storms together, 

God’s Love will fill our needs.

Let not your heart be troubled,

At the dawn of this new day,

For I am with you always,

And Love will lead our way.
