Let go of the old, welcome the new...

As the South wind and rain melt the mounds of snow still piled high here in the foothills of the Cascades, we know that winter is on its way out. Standing on the deck in the early hours of day light, how delightful to hear the familiar sound of frogs croaking down in the pond. They are spring’s harbingers, as much as the robins are.
How wonderful it will be this year, particularly, to let go of the old, and welcome in the new! We long for the fresh warm spring breezes to fill our nostrils and lungs and to rejuvenate our outlook. We know we will feel energized to move more and will relish in the joy of the new. We smell the sweet warm earth as new buds shoot up and spring flowers bloom. We see the birds making their nests, and nature bursting forth in all its glory. We feel an increased sense of well-being and that ‘all’s right with the world’ feeling.
In many churches, at this time, Lent is now being observed — that time that is a preparation for My death and resurrection, celebrated on Easter morning. People feel called to give up something as a way to represent what they see as My sacrifice on the cross, for them. You can give something up for Me, dear one, and for yourself, and that is this — let go of the old, worn out, conviction/idea that you are a sinner, have always been, and always will be, inferior, less than, unworthy, and guilty, there.
Let Me tell you that your so-called sins have been committed from the ignorance of who you really are as My brothers and sister, and as a Child of your Maker, and as at One with Source. God holds you in His mind as perfect, whole, and free, as at One with Him, and has always held you this way and always will. What you see as your sins, have been done as you have allowed the ego mindset of defenses, the separated mindset, to tousle you around with all its falsehood. Let it go, dear one, and join with Me within. This is what I am calling on you to do. Let go of the old and welcome in the new you, born again to the truth of you, and to our relationship of magnificence there within. You will have that forever spring-time feeling as you do this. Living love will light our way, healing, redeeming, renewing, and transforming there, making all things right. We will joy and relish in each day together! I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
