There is much ado about food these days. Foodies abound. Everyone has a recipe or a resource about food to share.  Feeding the body food that is healthy and nourishing seems to be at the forefront of people’s minds. In addition to  pleasure, the deliciousness aspect, there is an expectation that if great care is given to what is put into the body, health and well being will follow. For the most part, people have access to clean, tasty, and heathy food. For those on a limited budget, food banks and soup kitchens abound in America. We want to be, and we want others to be, well-nourished. Visions and reports of those that are hungry alarm us. It is painful to see pictures of starving children and adults. Our hearts and contributions in time and money, willingly go out to those who are in need of food, a basic necessity of life.

Why are we not as eager to provide spiritual nourishment to others?  Why do we not eagerly tell others about the direct relationship they can have with Me? You who have come to know Me well, and have found such a difference to your life as you follow My guidance, and as you feel into the transforming love that I have for you, are the ones who can give this most nourishing gift, you are the ones. 

If everyone knew that they were directly connected within to Jesus, to Me, and that I am not a far off character found only in the Bible, nor am I a king on a throne in heaven, someone to be worshipped on Sundays, or prayed to when in dire circumstances, they would turn to Me daily or even on a moment by moment basis. I can open the doors to living love, God’s meaning for them, and they would be nourished by its energetic power of healing, renewal, redemption, and its function to make all things right. Powerful nourishment, indeed!

This is God’s meaning for His Own, for you, dear one, for All. Let us not look at  this dynamic inner friendship with Me as a private thing only. Let us stay open to  the ‘nudge’ or the ‘knowing’ that I will give you as you see one who may really benefit from your powerful, transforming, testimony—witnessing— sharing—telling of the good news, that I am really there directly for that one.  Your part is to relate what you have experienced, and I will take it from there. This is real nourishment, dear one, life-changing nourishment, feeding the body, mind, and soul!  I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
