The dictionary defines perseverance as “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failures, or opposition: steadfastness.” In the message for today, let us look at how to persevere in turning inward and listening to the Voice for Truth, even when we are not in the mood or distracted, or led about by the ego mindset which insinuates that it is useless, that it is impossible, or a pipe dream to hear anything other than one’s own thinking. 

If you have even a little curiosity, a hope or a desire to hear, and if you are willing to commit some time to coming into relationship with Me or your own spiritual guide, then let us not view this as a whimsical thing to dabble with as one would try out a new hobby, or to do it ‘on a lark’ as the phrase goes, that is, just for fun. Let us take the endeavor seriously and with intent to hear.

Finding a place where you can be alone without distraction, and a time when you are not under pressure to go somewhere or do something, is important. Then comes a time of clearing out your thinking from the separated mindset. Find your peace, dear one. Just let the thinking bits and pieces of emotions, flotsam, and what not, pass by. Come into that clear place within we have called the field of receptivity. Peace is necessary for our joining. 

Here, your mind is silent and empty. Here is our meeting time and place, the Sanctuary of Transcendence within.  Ask Me in, dear one, not in a demanding way as this is ego, but in a willing way, freely choosing to hear Me. Persevere until you hear Me and if you cannot this time, return again and continue with the process until you are hearing Me. I am there for you, dear one, I am there. If writing down what you ask and what I say makes a difference for you, do this. Do not be afraid as you get to know Me, for love for you is the purpose for it all. You are coming into the very truth of you as you join within to the Transcendence of you, the joined with Source mindset. I will help you in letting go of the ego mindset that is false there, and the system of defenses walling you off from your truth. 

Now if you are fearful that nefarious spirits may enter,  ask only to hear that which is from Divine Love, and that which will be a blessing for you and others there. Ask for Me and I will answer. If you hear judgement, criticism, and anything that is not helpful and enlightening for you, it is not Me you are hearing, it is your own thinking there, trying to undermine our relationship.  I long for you to join Me within, and for our relationship of magnificence to begin. Persevere, dear one, persevere. I am steadfastly there with you always. I love you dearly and know that you are never alone.
