How is one to respond to a request made from someone who is important to you, when the response stretches your financial, emotional, and moral limits and places you feeling ill at ease and guilty about having to say ‘no,’ to disappointing that one you care about.  Should ‘giving beyond one’s means’ be the price tag for acceptance, love, and support by that one? 

Yes, you are giving to your Wholeness, as ‘the other’ is a part of who you are, the Oneness of our Source, but you are not called on to put your own needs and well-being at risk, or are you? Many have done this and have been happy and glad to have given, to the point of real sacrifice. Each situation will be different and there is no one-size-fits-all for the answer to this question. 

Each one who is faced with this situation, has a guide who can point the way. And so, the answer to this question is always found inside as you turn within to Me or to your own spiritual guide. To be guided to say ‘no,’ does not mean that you are selfish, uncaring, or unloving. Only God knows the big picture of what is happening in the life of the one making the request and in your own life, and what impact the decision will have on both. 

Perhaps a ‘no’ from you is what is needed to guide that one in a different and necessary direction. Do not let the ego’s ploy of ‘guilty’ be the monkey on your back, the driver of your decision in saying ‘yes,’either, for there will no doubt be resentment felt. Let your giving come from the firm foundation, the real conviction you have as you have turned within to Me and have been given the answer to say ‘yes’ to the request of that one.  Let it come from the living love substance that you are, God’s meaning for you, that functions to renew, redeem, heal, transform and make all things right. 

In other messages, we have called God, The Great Gift Giver, and this is true. As His children we too, are gift givers, as we allow for living love to pour out through us to others. This is God's meaning for us, to be His point of love and light right where you are! Let us remember the five engines of manifestation: trust, intention, spiritual guidance, divine purpose and living love. If you have these five engines, manifestation will be there for you, I tell you true! The timing of it all is in the Father’s hands, dear one. Do not give up, persist, and trust that God’s will be done for that one asking for your help, and for you, as you turn within, listen for spiritual guidance, and follow what is given. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
