Have you recently had a chat with a good friend? Have you had your day brightened by a phone call, a letter, a card, or an email from someone who knows you? Have you shared coffee or a few minutes of break time with a co-worker or neighbor? Friendship is often taken for granted and yet it is of great value to you. We feel more connected to the “whole of humanity” as we befriend and are befriended by those who take the time to care. Often, it is the little exchanges that serve this purpose and are not insignificant, even though they may seem so. 

You may not even know that you have made an impact on another.  You may not know that your inquiry, your interest, and your willingness to show caring for another has really made a difference in how that one feels. You may have eased someone’s loneliness or depression. You may have staved off someone’s suicidal or self harm thoughts. No matter how introverted you are, or how shy and awkward you may feel with others, friends are significant, do make a difference, and are important and necessary to our well being. 

Now you may feel that you have no really close friends. Let Me tell you that you have Me, dear one. I am here, right within your very being, as you quiet your thinking mindset, find your peace, and ask Me in. I am here with the deepest love and caring for you. Now it is true I am not a physical presence, but that, in no way, diminishes My reality for you. I will talk with you and listen to your concerns.  I am never too busy, nor too far away from you to hear you and respond lovingly to you. I see what you are going through, and what is going on with you.  I will guide you lovingly through each and very situation that you bring to Me. My love and My friendship is enduring, unceasing, and ever available to you. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone. 

Your Forever Friend

I am Your Forever Friend,

Within your Mind and Heart,

I am that constant Presence,

Not separate, nor apart.

I’m here because I love you,

And so want you to know,

That we are joined forever,

In grace and love we’ll grow. 

Your part’s to open to Me,

To quiet ego’s mind,

To ask and listen closely,

The Voice for Truth you’ll find. 

Our life lived joined together,

Releases ego’s reign,

Dispels its faulty blustering.

Your Truth is now made plain!

I put this poem before you,

Simple as it may be,

I ask, yes, I implore you,

To come and join with Me. 

Truth is, we’re joined right now, dear,

Right there within to see,

I ask your recognition,

To lift your eyes to Me. 

A Friend Forever, yes, dear,

A guide and teacher, too,

God moves as One Great Wholeness, 

This Oneness moves with you.

A plea with One intention,

To waken you to see,

That you are not alone, dear,

That you are joined with Me. 

I’m waiting here within you,

Right now is the right time,

Come and find Your Forever Friend—
