Have you ever created something or done something that has been a real benefit to others and yet the credit was given to someone else who chose to receive the accolades as his or her own? Did you want to call out, “Hey, I did that! It was my idea, my effort, my originality!” Sometimes, particularly in close relationships, whether family, friend, or neighbor, co-worker or community member, it is wisest to “ let it go.” If the benefit to others was given and well received, the  purpose of what you created has been served. 

To forgo accolades does not need to diminish the good feelings you have about what was created. Your ego will always want to be fed, but as you identify what is going on with it, you see that turning within to the joined mindset where the original idea came forth anyway is the correct antidote to the ego’s indignation. You have heard the phrase, “To God alone the glory.” You, who know Me well, know this to be so true.  Do not withhold your relationship with the one who took credit, for that would serve no purpose. Mistakes or misjudgments, all ego-led, are made by everyone and if you withhold relationship because of these things, you would be isolating yourself mightily.

As with all things, living love, God’s meaning, is the action energy that heals, redeems, and transforms, there. This love energy is the very stuff of us and is who we are in our spiritual essence. Open to it as you turn within to Me, dear one.  I will show you the way.  Resentment will fade, and you will feel the validation of My love for you so mightily that nothing can disturb you there. The joy of our relationship eradicates any ill feelings that you may have felt towards others. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.  

Love is Elemental

Love is elemental,

To whom you really are,

It’s not a chosen 'add on’—

Like glitter on a star. 

A fundmental substance—

God’s meaning coming through,

Love has its divine purpose—

To heal, redeem, renew.

It’s basic to your being,

That’s why I’m asking you,

To open to My guidance—

To let this love come through.

Find peace within, then ask Me,

I’ll answer to your call,

Joining is the answer,

Love’s there for you — for all! 

A powerhouse, yet simple,

It works with what is there,

Brings order out of chaos,

Transforms beyond compare.

This love is truly you, dear,

You’re not the ego’s slave,

Held hostage to defenses—

Sin, sickness, and the grave.

Call on living love, dear,

To set free and arrange,

In God’s own divine order,

What’s in need of change.

Love is elemental,

It basic and its true,

It’s what we’re really made of,

Let’s let its light shine through!

One more verse I give you,

Before this poem will end,

I am with you always,

My love, to you, I send.
