Father’s Day 2021

Are there ways that fathers,

Are alike in what they do?

Is there a commonality, 

In what our dads bring through? 

There’s such a broad diversity,

In culture, tradition, trends, 

Some dads are family leaders, 

Some want to be just friends. 

Let’s face it, dads are people,

Not just a role to play, 

This means they have shortcomings, 

Still, love can find a way,

A way to find the blessing,

In what your dad did do,

In any love he put forth,

To show he cared for you. 

If your dad was absent,

Little known to you. 

You have a loving Father,

To Him, I’ll guide you to.

You see, our true Creator,

True Father to us all,

Brings love beyond all measure,

If we but heed His call. 

Join Him in His Oneness,

You are already here, 

Just need to open to Him,

Allow your Mind to clear.  

Allow your heart to open, 

To let the Oneness in,

Your Father is within you, 

As One, you’ve always been. 

Today we honor fathers.

Let them know you care, 

Appreciate what they’ve given,

Uniquely, what yours did share. 

I offer my appreciation,

If you, a father, be, 

My love encompasses you, there,

Join within to Me. 

Here you'll find a treasure 

A friend like none you’ve known,

We’ll live as One, forever,

No more adrift, alone.
