Escapism into television, movies, and video is losing its appeal. People are tiring of the paralysis that sitting in front of a screen engenders. People are seeking real experiences that have not been pre-scripted for them. Even sitting out in one’s own yard or a park or some green space affords more spontaneity with nature all around, than what is given to one  mesmerized in front of a tv, phone, or a computer screen. People are realizing that to turn over one’s consciousness to the commercial screens is to turn over, postpone, or dismiss what Universal Mind, your Creator would have you experience.

You will find a realness to your life as you let the hours of tv watching go. Your senses will come alive as they encounter them — in real life, the sights, sounds, smells, colors, relaionships that are presented  in a pseudo way on the screens. You are seeking the real in you, dear one, and this is a good and wonderful thing. Just turn tv off, get up, and walk away. 

Why am I giving you this message at this time when you are turning here not to be told what to do, but to find something meaningful? Well, there is need for you to hear this and there is a need for you to take heed and let the hours of tv watching go. It has become, for many, not even thought about, but just turned to as one would turn to eating or sleeping. It is in that category of things to naturally do. You come home, you turn on the tv. and it stays on always. You have been mightily conditioned there, and you are like a sponge absorbing anything that is put out there for you. 

Now I see you as my brother or sister there. I see how life will enrich you as you open to the realness of you. Join within to Me, and let us find joy in our relationship there. This is not escapism — it is coming into what is real about you, the truth of you, the sanity of you, and the living love that is God’s meaning for you there, with all its power for renewal and transformation. Turn off the tv and come to Me, dear one. I love you, dearly, and know that you  are never alone.  

A Choice to Make

There is a choice that you must make,

As life is lived each day,

A choice that makes a difference,

In what will point the way.

You see, you are the chooser,

You’re gifted with free will,

Given without conditions,

So that you can fill,

What you desire most there,

It’s up to you to find,

What gives your life its meaning,

What brings you Peace of Mind. 

The choice is truly simple,

Once the truth you know,

That you can join within to Me,

In peace, God’s Love will flow.

Aloneness or together,

One or the other there,

A mind alone is empty,

No roots, no fruit to bear,

A Mind that’s joined in Oneness,

Connected to its Source,

Will yield that Love that Liveth,

God’s Will it will bring forth.

Yes, you are the chooser,

You’re God’s point of light, His Star,

Right there, you bring His Meaning,

Choose whom you really are. 

Make the choice for Oneness,

Together, there we’ll be,

In joy and love forever,

Throughout eternity.
