Have you ever felt abandoned? Were you a child whose parents divorced and did you feel as if you were left reeling in the travesty of a family now separated? Did your Mother leave you? Did your Father leave you? Did a serious relationship end for you? Abandonment by family, friends, and supposed loved ones is common in our culture of today.  Abandonment can leave a whole in the psyche, and emotional scars that are not easily healed in the life ahead. Trust is hard to establish with another if you have ever felt the heartache of serious breakup or abandonment. 

Let Me tell you that I will never abandon you, dear one.  I have made a promise that I will be with you always and that promise has been kept. Our relationship is secure. Not only am I there fully for you within, but I stand at the door of living love which will heal the emotional pains you may have  felt as a result of abandonment. My Presence and My love is steadfast for you and I am there immediately, as you ask Me in, dear one.  

Let the loneliness and emptiness you may have felt in your life, be met with the friendship and love that I have for you. You see, dear one, you could never be alone!   You are joined as One with your Maker and move as One with Him. You are first and foremost a spiritual being. You are God’s point of love and light right there where you are. Now this does not mean that your individuality is swallowed up in some sort of divine cloud or spiritual soup. No, indeed! You are known to Universal Mind, your Creator/Sustainer  as who you are. You are known fully and intimately as who you uniquely are — known by your name, dear one. As the bible says in Isaiah, “ Fear not, for I  have redeemed you and I have called you by your name."

The pain of abandonment will go as you join with Me, and you will be free of the emptiness and loneliness at last. You will have found your true parent  your true heritage of Oneness, there. Join with Me now, within,  dear one. I am here, ready and waiting to embrace you as My own. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone. 

Fulfilling the Promise

I made a promise long ago,

A promise made for you,

That I would be there always,

To this I have stayed true. 

In Spirit I am present,

Available in Mind,

When joined with your Transcendence,

In peace you’ll truly find,

A Friend unlike no other,

No other can compare,

Whose constancy of love for you,

And willingness to share,

Provides God’s very meaning,

In living love you’ll grow,

In understanding who you are,

God’s own you’ll come to know. 

You’ll know My constant Presence,

So intertwined are we,

That separation will be gone, 

With all its falsity. 

We’ll move as One together,

Each day anew we’ll find,

A fullness without measure,

Embraced by ties that bind. 

So if you’re feeling all alone,

And know not what to do,

Just ask Me in for friendship,

I’m here in Mind for you! 

This poem’s a declaration,

A promise I renew, 

I pledge and open to you,

My love and All that’s true. 

In closing I would urge you,

Don’t push this love aside,

Its gift is all transforming,

In joy we will abide!
