Have you looked at a picture of yourself and felt your heart sink? Have the extra pounds, the enlarged waistline, the lines and wrinkles, the thinning hair, caused you to detest what you see? You may view yourself as plain, ill-proportioned, or even painful to look at. You know that the pictures will live on in perpetuity, defining you to others there at that point in time. You feel that, somehow, you are the one who has caused what you see and heap blame and shame on yourself. What is one to do with this ego attack on the physical self that leaves you wanting to isolate and stay away from others? They may or may not be judging you, but you are hard on yourself—despise yourself, for what you see. Self-hatred looms large. 

Let Me share with you what I see when I see you. I see My beloved one, there. I do not view you with disgust, nor do I pity you. You are, first and foremost, a spiritual being, dear one, having a physical experience at this time. I want so to lift you out of the doldrums of your mere physicality, and open to you the larger picture, the true picture, of who you are. As you transcend the separated mindset and join with Me within, you will experience the deep love I have for you. This is not a love that “feels sorry” for you, as one who cares about a down trodden one or as one would love a dirty and forgotten puppy found in a ditch. No indeed, dear one. I view you as a  beloved sibling there, of equal stature to Me. You are held as of infinite value to Me and as one that I am with always. I have promised that I will be with you always and that is the truth, dear one. You are God’s point of love and light right where you are.  You are inextricably intertwined as ONE with Source and All That Is. 

Now what can change the way you feel about yourself? It is God’s meaning for you, the living love energy that will transform your mindset and place it as God would have it be. This living love energy heals, redeems, renews and transforms as its function.  This renewed mindset is an inclusive mindset, dear one, that allows for and opens for divine intelligence to guide you to the very truth of you. 

Now your understanding of who you are will enlarge and change and you will see yourself as God sees you—perfect, whole, and free. Again, His point of love and light right where you are. Now you let go of the ego’s damming insinuation and dismiss it as the nothingness it is. You embrace the truth that you are perfect, whole, and free as God created you. Your physical body will reflect how you view it and more perfection will come forth, there.  No longer will you beat up on yourself, for you know that you are a direct inheritor of your Father and that your meaning is truly living love expressed and expressing. Let go of the ego’s insinuations, dear one. There is nothing real there to even engage with. Let it go! Let it go! I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone. 

River of Love 

A river of love pours forth within,

And as we trace its Source, 

We find that its beginning, 

Lies not in what is forced. 

Lies not in choices rendered,

From ego’s made-up hold,

But springs from yielding to the flow,

God’s meaning doth unfold. 

This meaning which God giveth,

 Has purpose and intent,

To bring about renewal,

For this is what is meant, 

When love pours down upon us,

 And washes us so clean,

Heals, redeems, and makes things right, 

A light, transcendent, stream. 

Open to this love, dear,

Join as One with Me,

 Let living love caress you,

 Go forth, so joyfully, 

For you have felt God’s meaning, 

You’re radiant and new, 

And want to share with others 

As living love flows through. 

We see the vast connection, 

The Oneness of this love, 

This meaning of our Father, 

For All to partake of. 

I offer you Myself, dear,

And pour forth there, so true, 

This living love, God’s meaning,

Join now, for I love you.
