Raise Your Eyes

Raise your eyes to mine, dear,

Look fully in my face,

You’ll see I’m looking at you,

I see beauty, kindness, grace.

You are God’s shining star, dear,

Unfolding new each day, 

I see in you, God’s point of light,

A radiant love display. 

Let ego’s shackles go, dear,

Feel the great release,

Bound no longer by defense,

Self-loathing now will cease. 

Be infilled with your truth, dear,

God’s Oneness that is you, 

You carry God’s full meaning,

Where living love pours through. 

This love heal’s separation,

It washes clean, redeems, 

Brings you back to Wholeness, 

The light of you now gleams. 

Degradation’s gone, dear,

’Twas ego’s sharpest nail,

Driven hard to bind you,

To hell,  in sinner’s jail. 

You’re free from guilt that’s useless, 

“Come, get up off the ground! ”

Let’s walk together, arm in arm,

With God’s love we are bound! 

God’s equality of Oneness, 

Means you are perfect, whole, and free,

So stand up tall and join me,

No distance will there be. 

In closing let me tell you,

Our relationship’s full grown,

I will love you always,

You are not alone.
