What Would I do Without You

What would I do without you, Lord,

How lonely life would be, 

Without your constant Presence, 

There’d be just empty me.

How could I make decisions, Lord, 

Without your guidance, there, 

I’d follow ego’s faulty chant, 

T’would lead to guilt, despair. 

I look back through the years, Lord, 

Pure love, from you, I see, 

Leading me, with your clear light,

To my identity. 

You promised you’d be with me, Lord,

This promise kept by you, 

My trust in you unwavering, 

You’ve proven you’re so true. 

My heart is filled with love, Lord,

I want to share the news,

You’re there within for everyone,

They need but only choose.

So readers, all, please listen,

I witness now, declare,

You have a loving Friend within, 

 His love beyond compare! 

Don’t disregard this calling,

For Jesus waits for you,

He’s right within and ready, 

To be your Friend so true.

There’s nothing more important, 

That you could ever do,

For Jesus’s love transforms you, 

Redeems, makes all things new! 

I cannot live without you, Lord,

I know that we are One, 

Inextricably intertwined,

With love — God’s will is done.
