Rest with Me

A day of rest is called for,

Time to rest with Me, 

With what we share together,

Our blissful harmony. 

Rest from daily pressure, 

With Me, find deep release, 

My arms will hold you gently,  

And effort will surcease.  

I see you’ve felt some strain, there,

Some anxious thoughts, it seems, 

With Me, your mind’s at peace, dear,

Love heals, renews, redeems. 

Joined in Mind with Me, dear, 

As One, there’s solid ground,

No dissonance to bother you,

Your Mind, true rest, has found. 

You’ll feel revitalization, 

You’ve opened up love’s door,

And joyful restoration, 

With Me, you have in store.

You may go out in nature,

Or watch some screen, TV, 

But take some time in quiet,

Find rest and peace with Me.

Since we are One together,

When you rest with Me, 

I also rest in you, dear,

Likewise, the Entirety.

God moves as One, as Wholeness,

As Universal Mind, 

Your choice to join with Me, dear, 

Impacts the Whole, in kind. 

In closing I will tell you, 

Again, what you have known,

I am with you always,  

You are not alone.
