Right Now in Paradise

Seek not for adulation,

Nor praise from others there,

Your contribution’s noted,

By us, and those who care.

We see you not as second rate,

Nor as a minor one, 

What you have given to others,

God’s will’s been surely done. 

You may live in obscurity,

A monkish sort of life, 

Yet here we see your purity,

Devoid of ego’s strife. 

Simplicity’s your byword,

No complexity, fast pace,

One step at a time for you,

Let others win the race. 

Fame would be a hardship,

Riches, a distraction there, 

You have all you need, dear, 

And even some to spare. 

You have our dear relationship,

Will not that suffice?

You live your life with Jesus,

Right now, in paradise!

So treasure what we have, dear,

Each other, so well known, 

Together, in love, as One there,  

Forever, not alone!
