To really get to know a person in depth, or to have that person know you well, each of you must be willing to share yourself at the heart level. Not as a strategy to extract something from another or to manipulate that one, but as a willingness to forgo the ‘proper’ self, the ‘public’ self, the self-made ‘mask’ that keeps real feelings at bey, and a willingness to expose what may be seen as weaknesses, hurts, difficult past history, etc.,—the sensitive parts of who you are.

To be appropriately  ‘nice,’ can often lead to a superficial experience of relationship. Revealing oneself to another may be viewed as risky behavior, because you may now feel vulnerable to that one. Is this one to be trusted with what was shared? Will this person reject me as off -balance and damaged? Will this information be put into the gossip mill to be hashed out to others there? 

Perhaps you feel it is wiser to just keep your heart stuff, your intimate stuff to yourself. And yet there is a hunger to share the whole of you to another, to let it out, to be fully known. Healing will come of this if it can be received and accepted, it is somehow felt. Superficiality is meaningless and has little impact on letting in or receiving the healing love and acceptance that is so wanted and needed, there. 

You may pay for a therapist to open to, but that then becomes a transaction and the therapist  is selling his or her listening and diagnosing skills as a commodity. You will be a patient with a diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan.  Yet this is not to say therapists are not helpful, for they are, for many. 

I am here for you, dear one, within. I will listen to you with a loving heart and a sharing soul. I am not out for profit nor for an ego hit at being needed there. I do not judge you and I do not hold you at a distance there, ever. When you talk to Me you can trust fully in that I have nothing but love and caring for you. I bring the transcendent wisdom of your Universal Source to bear on what you bring to Me. I know already, the workings of your heart and mind, for I see you as you truly are.  I am your spiritual physician, your counsellor, and best of all, your dearest friend.

Share yourself with Me at the heart level, dear one, and receive the healing love that is so vital to your well being, there. Let us become as close  as your next breath and as meaningful as anything you have ever known! Find the truth of who you really are!  I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.

I am Your Forever Friend,

Within your Mind and Heart,

I am that constant Presence,

Not separate, nor apart.

I’m here because I love you,

And so want you to know,

That we are joined forever,

In grace and love we’ll grow. 

Your part’s to open to Me,

To quiet ego’s mind,

To ask and listen closely,

The Voice for Truth you’ll find. 

Our life lived joined together,

Releases ego’s reign,

Dispels its faulty blustering.

Your Truth is now made plain!

I put this poem before you,

Simple as it may be,

I ask, yes, I implore you,

To come and join with Me. 

Truth is, we’re joined right now, dear,

Right there within to see,

I ask your recognition,

To lift your eyes to Me. 

A Friend Forever, yes, dear,

A guide and teacher, too,

God moves as One Great Wholeness, 

This Oneness moves with you.

A plea with One intention,

To waken you to see,

That you are not alone, dear,

That you are joined with Me. 

I’m waiting here within you,

Right now is the right time,

Come and find Your Forever Friend—
