Halloween 2022

A day set for remembering,

The spirits of the dead,

The kids dress up in costumes,

“Trick or treat” is said.

A day that comes and goes there, 

A passing holiday,

Yet always we are spirit,

Fills life in every way!

Not something to be afraid of,

The opposite is true, 

Our spiritual self is filled with love,

God’s meaning coming through. 

The dimension where true spirit lives, 

Fills our materiality,

Here First Cause comes forth, dear, 

God’s true intentionality. 

I’m here within for you, dear,

I’m waiting at the door,

For you to knock and join Me,

Such gifts from God in store!

The gift of true relationship,

You’re God’s child inherently,

Endowed with all God is there,

You’re perfect, whole, and free!

Don’t be afraid to turn within,

No evil will come through,

Ask only for God’s meaning,

His love will heal, renew.

Living love’s the means there,

His power beyond compare,

Transcendent Mind is given,

As One Great Movement there. 

This poem’s another reminder,

For you this Halloween Day,

I love you now and always, 

I’m with you all the way!
