Chapter 72 

Let us not tarry with that which would delude us. Let us not stay involved with that which provides nothing of value for us. For always, your life experience should be that which provides value for you and provides meaning for you as you live. Now the ego, that defense system ingrained in your consciousness, is mightily intent on you being influenced by what you think will provide happiness. And so you give up your energy and your life blood for material gain and for the accumulation of money there. 

Now the emptiness of this way is paramount to valuing trash, dear one, for money in and of itself is only paper. The money you have worked so hard to accumulate represents to you, security, for you see it as a way to guarantee the wants and needs you have there. You see money as invaluable for furthering your desires and your interests. Well, dear one, always money is that which is only instrumental and certainly cannot be an end point in itself, for it is hollow and it is vaporous in what it can give you. 

The money, which is seen as of such value in working for there, is often far in excess of what is actually needed. Far in excess and that which has the ability to occupy one’s time and talents as it appears to be worthy of great efforting to acquire and manage. But the ultimate benefit of money is to provide a means to get one’s needs met and this can be felt largely as getting one’s physical needs met. For your spiritual needs are truly available free of charge. You are spirit and your turning to this is a gift to you without financial strings attached. This greatest of meaning and purpose for you is free and is there to partake of as you so desire. 

Now we here understand that money appears to be absolutely necessary for you and it appears as that which is easily lost and used there. It appears as if there is a shortage in your life of this, and it appears that you will have to work the rest of your days to live there, to finance living. Well, you can count on true living as you come into the spiritual relationship with inner guidance, with the truth of who you are. Now your resources will enlarge there mightily, and you will feel the security of true worth. Only as you do embrace this place within will your true identity, that which is priceless, come forth there. I am with you and will not leave you alone there. Let in and allow dear one, truly that is the call there. Let in and allow. You are, indeed, One. 

When Life Seems Empty

Do you awaken sometimes, 

And feel if nothing’s there?

You long for inspiration,

To fill the void so bare.

Nothing seems to spark you, 

You’ve done it all before,  

Another day so routine,

You wonder “Is there more?” 

You sit there on the bedside,

Suddenly you smile,

Remembering who is with you,

Who makes your life worth while. 

You shrug off any doldrums,

You claim our Oneness there,

Alone no more life opens, 

Togetherness, we share. 

No matter what unfolds this day,

It matters not that much,

God’s Love gives all its meaning, 

And inspiration’s touch. 

Life’s no longer empty, 

It’s filled up to the brim, 

Jesus is the answer, 

I dwell in peace with Him. 

He’s not there just for me, dear, 

He’s waiting for your call,

No one is left out ever,

He’s there with Love for All.   

A little poem to cheer you, 

And meant with big intent,

To offer you an answer,

His Love for you is sent. 

In closing I will tell you,

What you have surely known,

The Lord is with you always, 

You are not alone!
