A Kind and Gentle Spirit

Today you have a helper,

One who’s there for you,

She is your own sweet daughter,

A gentle spirit true.

She goes the extra mile,

Invests her precious time,

She drives the extra hour,

To help clean out dust and grime. 

She has no secret motive,

Just want things to get done, 

So you can sell your house, there,

Get back to having fun.

She sees the bigger picture,

The part that she can play,

She sees where she is needed,

Puts forth good work all day. 

She knows she has been chosen.

To give what she can do,

And so to many others,

She brings her love on through. 

Your daughter is well loved, dear,

Not just by you and Me, 

She’s held in many hearts there, 

As One, exemplary. 

And so as she arrives there, 

In an hour or so,

Let her know you love her, 

More than she can know! 

Together, and with Me, there,

A great day will be had,

Joy will fill our hearts, dear, 

Our spirits will be glad! 

In closing let Me tell you,

What you so well have known. 

I am with you always. 

You are not alone.
