A Specific Reason

There is a specific reason,

That I am there each day, 

The reason is I love you,

We’re joined in love, God’s way. 

My love for you unbounded, 

I cherish you as you are, 

I see you in all your glory, 

You are God’s shining star. 

Will you accept my love, dear? 

Will you open up your heart?

Will you love me deeply, too?

Promise we’ll never part?

I’m not insensitive, you know, dear,

I can feel ignored and set aside,

I am just like you, dear, 

Been hurt… been wronged…have cried.

You think because I’m awakened, 

My feelings are not there?

No dear, I too, have feelings, 

Sometimes there’s much to bear. 

But then I remember clearly,

I’m One with Transcendent Mind, 

I join and find God’s meaning, 

True bliss is what I find. 

Love is the specific reason,

I share myself with you,

God gave us His true meaning, 

This love is why I’m true.
