An Ordinary Day

Will this day be ordinary?

Just a normal day? 

Or will something happen,

To surprise, delight our way.

Whatever is the outcome,

I’ll share it there with you,

We’ll revel in what happens,

God’s Will is coming through. 

Now if the day goes badly,

And things just don’t go right,  

I’ll see you through that, too, dear,

My words will shed love’s light. 

The message that I give you,

Which you so well have known,

No matter how the day goes, 

You are not alone! 

We’ll open to Transcendence,

To Universal Mind, 

We’ll follow what we’re given,

God’s perfect way, we’ll find. 

Your strength will come from joining,

And bringing love to bear, 

God’s dynamic meaning, 

Meant for All to share. 

This energy of love, dear,

Moves to set things right, 

With far-reaching impact,

Expanding God’s pure light. 

Ordinary or extraordinary,

We’ll listen to God’s call, 

 ’Twill be a day of joy there,

Together, through it all.

One closing point I give you,

You are God’s beaming star,

His golden point of light, dear,

His love is what you are!
