Guilt can cling to you like a stubborn monkey on your back. If you have had the idea instilled in you that you were born a sinner and remain a sinner until you repent and seek forgiveness from a judging and shaming God, from Me, or from a church that propels the notion of original sin into your minds and hearts. How crippling this is and how down-trodden one can feel with this onerous idea of guilty by birth being carried around as defining who you are.  

Is guilt ever justified, for people do horrific things to self and to others. Now I am not advocating for getting rid of conscience as it does serve a purpose for holding up a mirror to us of what has been done, and the harm it may have caused.  I am advocating that you turn within to Me, for what to do to make amends to others and for greater self- understanding that your negative behaviors do not define who and what you are. 

Your harming behaviors toward self and others are temporary decisions to let ego run rampant for what it proposes to you as desirable behavior at the time. It  is a forgetfulness and a decision to feed self impulse/will and a harmful defense allowed to express itself, come what may. Addictive behaviors can fall into this category, with a strong physical component involved. 

Turn to Me within. dear one, and ask Me to show you, teach you, make clear to you what has occurred there. I will tell you, as I am right now, that you are born innocent, held innocent in your Maker’s Mind, always. Perfect, whole, and free are you in Universal Mind now and forever. It is you who have defined yourself as guilty and it is you who must open up to the truth of your innocence, there.  Yes, you are subject to the laws of the land and the consequences for breaking those laws, but My love for you will not be any less there. And My Presence with you is still there abundantly as you open to Me. 

Claim your inherent innocence, dear one, and let the monkey of guilt be gone as a heavy burden rolled off your back. Let living love wash you clean and  restore your inherent innocence, dear one. Ego be gone, as you join within to Me. I love you truly, and know that you are never alone. 

God Has Not a Furrowed Brow

God has not a furrowed brow,

Nor lines upon his face.

He shaketh not his finger,

Nor views you with disgrace.

He harbors no resentment,

For ills that He’s blamed for,

He seeks no retribution,

Nor punishment in store.

God knows only goodness,

In His creation, where,

Abides His own true meaning,

Living love is there. 

This love is true perfection,

It moves with one intent,

To bring about renewal,

This energy is sent,

To heal, redeem, and to transform,

It’s there for you within,

Open to God’s living love,

Right there it’s aways been. 

Let go of guilt and shame, dear,

They serve no purpose there,

For you are held as innocent,

And loved beyond compare. 

I am here to guide you,

If self-will you’ll release,

My hand outstretched to lift you,

From ego’s grip, ’twill cease.  

As often I have told you,

You’re perfect, whole, and free,

And Held in Universal Mind,

This way, you’ll always be. 

Innocent and blameless,

A child of God you are,

Claim your inherent birthright,

You are His shining star. 

In closing let me tell you,

I love you as My Own, 

Let’s move as One together,

You are not alone.
