Memorial Day 2022

Honoring the fallen,

Who’ve given lives in war,

This day, one of remembrance,

For what these soldiers bore.

Honoring the fallen,

Means not, we honor war, 

Killing’s not the answer,

Will not true peace restore.

We see war’s devastation,

Whole countries torn apart, 

People’s lives upended,

And sadness fills our heart. 

And so we turn within, Lord,

We seek your answer there, 

How can we live in peace, Lord, 

War’s too much to bear!

When love becomes the leader,

We’ll live in harmony,

We’ll honor all, each other,, 

And war will never be!

So care for each who lives there,

And for the planet, too,

Letting love’s great power, 

Heal, redeem, renew. 

Honor those who died there,

They fought for freedom’s call,

In this they are remembered,

They died for you, for all. 

I offer you the answer,

Turn within to Me,

Living love will greet you,

It’s your heredity. 

I’ll show you what love means, dear,

Power beyond compare,

You’ll experience transformation, 

With joy I greet you there! 

In closing, let Me tell you

You are, to Me, well known,

I am with you always, 

You are not alone!
