In Quiet Celebration

This morning I arose, Lord,

And turned within to Thee,

In quiet celebration,

We joined in unity.

How peaceful is our union,

No dissonance is there,

Bound in joy and love, Lord,

Such happiness we share!

Alone, I exist not, Lord,

’Tis an impossibility,

Intertwined as One, Lord,

Never ‘me’ but ‘we.’

Strength in insoluble union,

I go forth fortified,

A solid firm foundation,

As One, we do, abide.

There is no separation,

‘Inclusiveness,’ the call,

We see the whole creation,

As One with God, our All.

Today’s a celebration,

Like each and every day,

Joy fills up my heart, Lord,

And love light’s up our way.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me,

For being my best friend,

For holding me in union,

God’s Oneness will not end.
