Loving Guidance Given

Opinions, thoughts, and feelings,

Can jump out of your mouth,

You’ll find yourself deserted, 

As those who hear head south. 

It’s better to hold your tongue, dear,

Find peace, with Me, abide,

Just listen without speaking,

Let emotional tone subside. 

You need not prove a point, dear,

E’en though you know your right,

Why alienate your others,

Believe Me, they’ll take flight! 

It’s best to show through example,

How love has set you free,

Has brought you joy and happiness, 

As you have turned to Me. 

Spiritual ideas may vary,

Everyone’s at a different place,

Honor where they’re at, dear,

Accept each one with grace.

I’m working in those hearts, dear,

Who have opened up to Me, 

Waiting for the others,

I’ll wait so patiently. 

Just live your life, joined with Me,

And follow what you hear,

Your example in the quiet,

Speaks more than words, my dear.   

This is not meant as a reprimand,

Nor a judgement against you,

Just loving guidance given,

Know that My love is true.

In closing let Me tell you, 

What you so well have known,

I am with you always,

You are not alone.
