A Vision And A Mission

A vision and a mission,

Were given, Lord, to me, 

I understood most clearly,

I took You seriously.

Step by step you led me, 

And as I asked of Thee, 

What, Lord, would you have me do? 

Your answers came to me. 

Write the books I give you,

Set up a website, dear,

Give messages and poetry,

This is your mission, clear. 

To tell the world I’m right within,

Available to all,

Entwined with each as One Great Love,

I’ll answer every call. 

This happened many years ago,

With You I’ve been each day,

The solidarity of Oneness, 

Brings forth Your loving way. 

It’s been an honor, Lord, to serve, 

I realize so true,

Each one of us a point of light, 

Where meaning comes on through. 

It’s been a huge embracement,

God’s intention coming true,

Love, in all its power,

Heals, redeems, makes new. 

Readers, those who come each day,

This mission’s given for you, 

To help you find the power of love,

And Friendship, ever true!

My life, it feels fulfilled, Lord,

In gratitude, I give,

I’ll continue on with mission,

As long, on earth, I live.

In closing, I will end again, 

With truth, so well I’ve known, 

You are with me always, Lord, 

Never, am I alone!
