To Be a  Loving Person

To be a loving person,

Means you really care, 

Put forth the time and effort,

To help another there. 

It means that you are willing, 

To open up your heart,

And let your love be given,

That you will do your part,

To show through your attention, 

To let another feel, 

That he or she’s of value, 

 Your friendship, oh so real. 

The reason why you do this,

Because I first loved you, 

My love to you spills over, 

So others feel it, too. 

A forever stream, love floweth, 

Its function to make new,

Healing and redeeming,

This love, it transforms you. 

Love, it is your nature,

’Tis light infused in you,

Shinning forth God’s mercy, 

’Tis what we’re meant to do.  

Today, an opportunity, 

Your love to give, to share, 

Join Me as we pour forth this love, 

To help a dear one, there. 

To give is to receive, dear, 

Your heart, filled up, will be, 

With joy, you helped another, 

Love flowed abundantly!

In closing, let Me tell you, 

My love pours forth, so true, 

Always I am here, dear, 

Forever One with you!
