St. Patrick's Day, 2024

A lowly priest of long ago, 

Came to Ireland to say, 

Christ exists all through me, 

In each and every way. 

His life was a true witness, 

His love for Me came through,

And in this love, the people, 

Came to know Me, too. 

Far and wide, he told of Me, 

In loving word and deed,

We planted many a heart there, 

His words, the loving seed. 

You may be celebrating,

The Irish and their ways, 

Put truly it’s St. Patrick,

Deserves your fervent praise.

I tell you now he’s with Me, 

He shares these words with you, 

Jesus is the way,  dear friend,

His Presence, sublimely true! 

In closing, I invite you in,

To find your bliss with Me, 

I’m waiting here, my dear one, 

Call My name, you’ll see!
