Words from Guidance for You
Words from Guidance for You
Are you wiling to stand up for that one who is so easily excluded? The scenarios play out everywhere. One or another is left out of the circle, the group, or the mindset of togetherness. One or another is avoided, and turned away from. Sometimes, open hostility is expressed, but more often it is subtle avoidance, disregard, and turning away that takes place. Shunning can be seen in almost every societal group, whether in the work place, the club, the church, the neighborhood, the school, or wherever people congregate. For some reason or another, one or another is avoided.
Now if you are inclusive and kind to that one, you risk being ‘an avoided one by association with that one’ by the group, too. Since being included in the group is a basic desire, a need for most people, there is a strong tendency to adopt the social norms of the group—to ‘go along’ and ‘come along.’
I am calling for a radical shift to occur. I am calling for the spirit of inclusion to be embraced and allowed to blossom there. It will take a willingness to stand up for the spirit of inclusion, and accept individual differences as a value there. This is easier said than done, for that avoided one may have some traits that really are bothersome or ‘hard to swallow.’
Now the idea, the mindset of Oneness of our Source sounds so good, but it is the living out of our joining that really counts—the practice of it in our daily lives. Call on Me to help you in this. When you are faced with a situation where you must choose inclusion or exclusion, quietly go within and ask Me. I will help you to be the place where love can come through. Ask for spiritual discernment there, dear one, and it will be given to you.
You must rise above pettiness and the narrow opinions of the group. Let love lead, and whatever the consequence, you will feel right about it. Remember, that avoided one is a part of you, a part of the Oneness of you and your Source. Kindness goes a long way in opening to the spirit of inclusion. There is great transformative power in bringing living love into play in any situation there. I stand at the portal of this living love, dear one, and I will fling open the gates of renewal and transformation for you, for that one, and for the group. Stand up for inclusion and stand up for the Oneness of who you are. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.
Standing up for inclusion...
